New fees for immigration judicial reviews from 1 May 2024

Today The Court and Tribunal Fees (Miscellaneous Amendments) Order 2024 was laid before Parliament, this sets out increases to fees including immigration judicial reviews in both the Upper Tribunal and Administrative Court as well as for applications to the Court of Appeal.

For the Upper Tribunal, Article 10 of the Order amends Schedule 1 of The Upper Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) (Judicial Review) (England and Wales) Fees Order 2011. The new fees are set out at Table 8 of the 2024 Order as follows:

The Civil Proceedings Fees Order 2008 has also been amended to make the same changes for judicial review fees in the Administrative Court.

Court of Appeal fees are also to be increased as follows:
