Quick plug. Sorry.

Quick plug for a new publication from the Immigration Law Practitioners Association, to which I contributed a chapter. It is called Working with Refugee Children: Current Issues in Best Practice and can be downloaded for free from the ILPA website or requested from ILPA in hard copy.

The launch was last Friday and was a very interesting affair. It was a real privilege to share a platform with a young person who had himself been through the appeals process, who had strong views about it and who was able to express himself so well. I learned a great deal from the experience.

I think ILPA would probably want me to mention the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial fund, which have funded the ongoing Refugee Children’s Project at ILPA, including the costs of the conference and the publication.
