About this course

The UK’s Global Talent visa is one of the most flexible and prestigious immigration routes available today, if not the most. Designed to attract the brightest and best from around the world, it offers a streamlined route for leaders or emerging leaders in fields such as digital technology, science, humanities, arts, and culture, to live and work in the UK without the restrictions of traditional sponsored work visas.

This webinar aims to offer a clear and practical overview of how the Global Talent route works and how eligible individuals can take advantage of it. We’ll explore who qualifies under the “exceptional talent” and “exceptional promise” categories and address the endorsement process in its different versions: Tech Nation, Arts Council England, the Royal Society, and others.

We will discuss the elements of a strong endorsement and visa application and the steps visa holders should take after approval to secure a successful extension or Indefinite Leave to Remain application. We’ll also provide an overview of the Stage 2 application process (the actual visa application), the procedure and particularities of applications for dependants.

Importantly, we’ll also highlight the unique advantages of the Global Talent visa: no need for sponsorship, the freedom to work across multiple roles or industries, and the accelerated route to settlement. We’ll compare it with other UK immigration routes, like the Skilled Worker or Innovator visas, to help you determine when Global Talent is the best choice.
