About this course

Often seen as an application of last resort, the private life provisions are in place for people who have established a private life in the UK. But what actually is a ‘private life’ and how do we prove someone has one?

This webinar examines the requirements for people making applications under Appendix Private Life. We’ll be focusing on the main routes, including for:

  • children born in the UK and continuously resident for 7 years
  • young adults who have spent at least half their life continuously resident in the UK
  • adults who have been continuously resident in the UK for over 20 years and
  • adults with less than 20 years’ residence but who face very significant obstacles to integrating into the country to which they would be required to return if removed from the UK

You’ll learn to assess eligibility and navigate the caseworker guidance, compile persuasive evidence and legal representations, and respond to common challenges.

Join us for a practitioner-focused training session to develop your expertise on private life applications.
