Practice Manager

The Project for the Registration of Children as British Citizens (PRCBC) is seeking to recruit a self-motivating and committed Practice Manager to manage and hold responsibility for PRCBC’s ongoing office management, legal administration, and financial administration operations. The post holder is expected to be at the core of and involved in all aspects of PRCBC’s future development, working closely with PRCBC’s CEO/Senior Supervising Solicitor, Solange Valdez-Symonds. This new post will be based at our office in Hammersmith, London.

Salary:                                               £38-45k per annum

(There will be an initial Zoom interview followed by an in-person practical written skills test and a further general interview at our office in Hammersmith).

PRCBC is a small dynamic charity with national profile having recently celebrated twelve years advising, assisting, and representing children and young people with their complex British citizenship rights. It has consistently undertaken strategic and test case litigation and policy advocacy to remove legal and practical barriers to citizenship; and provides information and training to the public and professionals to increase knowledge of citizenship rights and capacity to secure these.

The position is permanent and full-time. It is for 5 days per week, with an option for 4 days per week (pro rata) for the right candidate. The postholder must have availability to work one Saturday a month. A normal working week is 35 hours, to be worked between 09:00am to 5:30pm weekdays.
