A sad loss. She was a great woman who helped so many people. At least the Foundation will continue her work.
A sad day. As a Presenting Officer I found myself disagreeing with her in the early days, but as I came to know her my respect for her dedication and breadth of knowledge grew tremendously. She inspired me to learn more about PTSD, traumatic injury, torture and their effects on the minds of victims. I rarely lost an opportunity to go for a coffee with her to tap her knowledge. Now that I am working for applicants what she taught me has enriched my ability to interview clients and find their stories. She will be sorely missed and, I hope, long remembered.
