About this course

Holding a sponsor licence comes with significant, ongoing responsibilities. Failure to comply with your licence duties can put your company’s licence – and sponsored workers – at risk. In this practical webinar, we will cover the key duties and expectations for licensed sponsors, including:

  • Understanding compliance obligations and record-keeping requirements
  • Designing effective internal systems to manage sponsor duties
  • Preparing for and managing Home Office audits and compliance visits
  • Staying informed about changes in immigration law, policy and guidance

This session is designed for HR professionals, compliance managers and legal practitioners supporting sponsor licence holders. By the end of the session, attendees will have a clear understanding of best practices to remain compliant and reduce risk.

What do people say about our online IAA level 1 training?

I wish to thank Jasmine from the bottom of my heart for her excellent tuition, course delivery, exam feedback and the support she has provided to me for the two Level 2 training courses that I attended in April and October 2024. I achieved a high pass mark which enabled me and my firm to provide advice and services for complex casework in both the immigration and asylum categories. I truly do not think I would have been successful without her professional and invaluable assistance.

Tony Mattu, Beyond Borders Immigration Solutions (BBIS)

We have two members of the team who completed the level 1 course delivered in January – they have just passed their competency assessments with flying colours 😊 Thank you for the excellent course structure and support which will have contributed towards their success.

Lucy Walmsley, The Westwood Organisation

It’s a great way to gain foundational understanding of immigration law that is digestible yet still comprehensive. I liked how interactive the class was where we were encouraged to utilise our knowledge and test our understanding.

Ashari Bilan-Cooper

Detailed but not overwhelming. The examples where good and illustrated complex parts well. The quiz at the end was very good.

Ana Hart UK Visas

I thought the test questions were helpful. The language used was clear. The visuals for more complicated parts of the rules were great.

Katharine Higgs

Very clear language, useful examples, links to relevant further information, legislation, etc.
