Free Movement has been asked to highlight the I ? MIGRANTS campaign and upcoming launch event and is very happy to do so.

The campaign is run by JCWI and the launch event is at the Foundry Club in Old Street, East London on Thursday, April 29.

I quote:

We are providing free food and drinks for early arrivals from 7pm and there will also be live music and original photography. Hina Majid, our policy director, will be joined by Philippe Legrain, the author of Immigrants: Your Country Needs Them and University of London Union president elect Clare Solomon.

The hugely popular I Love Migrants t-shirts will also be available for sale (assuming we haven’t sold out by then) while everyone will get a free badge simply for turning up. We’ll be asking people to sign a postcard to their MP calling for a more balanced debate on immigration – and there will be plenty to take away for colleagues, friends and family.

Sounds fun. I might even go!
